• Rosemary (about 4-6 sprigs)
  • Lemongrass, roughly chopped (2 inch sections, about 4 stalks)
  • Ginger, roughly chopped (2 inch sections, 1 root)
  • Lemons (about 4)
  • Honey (a good amount)
  • Sugar2

  1. Fill a saucepan with water and place on high heat.
  2. Cut the lemons in half, give them a squeeze over the water, and then place the halves in the water.
  3. Add rosemary, ginger, and lemongrass.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Let steep for a while (about an hour or so)...the longer you steep, the more flavor it will have.
  5. Add honey/sugar to taste.
  6. Strain and ladle into a mug. Enjoy hot.

Chef's notes

  1. Remember, cooks don't measure things; we eyeball them. If you find what's listed isn't enough, add more!
  2. You can also add sugar if the honey isn't sweet enough for your personal taste.
